Auxiliary Anodizing and Plating Equipment

Walgren is a world leader in the development and manufacture of turnkey finishing lines –
and that includes a wide range of auxiliary systems that let customers choose a truly comprehensive,
"one source" option for their anodizing, plating, or specialty finishing line.

Auxiliary plating equipment engineered and manufactured by Walgren includes:

Steam and Hot Water Boilers

Steam and Hot Water Boilers for plating process solutions and
anodizing lines.

R.O. and DI Systems

R.O. and DI Systems provide clean water for use in all metal finishing operations.

Ventilation & Scrubbers, including systems that maintains stack emissions to specificppm levels set by local permit requirements for all input concentrations.   Specific outlets, based on percent removal can also be guaranteed.

Rectifiers

Rectifiers - air or water cooled, for precious metal plating, decorative
plating, zinc, nickel, chrome plating. Also, rectifiers for e-coating,
type I, II and III anodizing, and electroplating. 5 amps through 50,000
amps D.C. output. All are rated for continuous operation.

Low Pressure Blowers

Low Pressure Blowers for rinse water air agitation: blowers offer
quiet operation, minimal shocking, high energy efficiency.

Air-cooled Chillers

Air-cooled Chillers maintain optimum temperatures for anodize lines,
and for tin, nickel, and chromium plating lines. They also facilitate
carbonate removal.

Water-cooled Chillers

Water-cooled Chillers maintain optimum temperatures for
anodize lines, and for tin, nickel, and chromium plating lines.
They also facilitate carbonate removal.

Cooling Towers

Cooling Towers - for refrigeration condensers or cooling solutions.
Properly engineered cooling towers substantially reduce the cost of
water, and the cost of wastewater disposal.

Heat Exchangers

Heat Exchangers or heating and cooling solutions used in anodizing,
electroplating and electroless plating; chemical milling, acidic
and alkaline etching solutions, cleaning, stripping, electropolishing and
other metal finishing operations.

W500 Chemical Analyzer

W500 Chemical Analyzer - for plating, anodizing and
cleaning / etching operations – automatically retrieves and titrates
samples, cleans and controls replenishment.

In addition to auxiliary plating equipment, Walgren has a half-century of experience with material handling, environmental management,
and controls, for finishing lines - from the simplest to the most complex.
