Walgren Asia Finishing Equipment Ltd.
The Walgren manufacturing facility in Gongguan, China is a 51,000 sq. ft. complex dedicated
to the design, manufacturing and commissioning of advanced metal finishing systems for
customers in China, and those who are expanding to this vital region.
The new facility has extensive fabrication equipment, including vertical mills, horizontal lathes,
steel shear, brake press, steel/stainless welders and polypropylene fabrication and welding equipment.
The complex includes living quarters for workers and management, and apartments for visiting
dignitaries and engineers.
Members of the Walgren Asia engineering staff hold mechanical engineering degrees from
Taiwan universities; electrical engineers hold degrees from Hong Kong universities.
The Walgren Asia engineering group has 25 years of finishing industry experience.
Their process knowledge encompasses plating, anodizing, PCB board plating, electrocoating,
electrodeposition, autophoretic, powder coating and wet paint finishing.
Customers of Walgren Asia benefit from US engineering expertise, knowledge of wastewater
and air treatment standards applicable throughout Asia, and English communications.
